Almost a year ago, I received an interesting call from a well-known Cosmetics brand. They needed my advice, as they didn’t grow organically anymore, even though they invested in related marketing activities. I did a content audit and deleted 55% of the posts on their blog.
If you are actively doing SEO on your website, there’s a decent chance of it ranking naturally for its brand terms already. However, if your domain name does not contain your brand terms or you have other sites competing for your brand terms you may need to do brand SEO.
We all know pretty much how SEO works, which is keywords, optimise the pages for the keywords, create content, build backlinks, and wait and then create more content, build more backlinks, and wait. But sometimes the process got stuck because the keywords we chose are too competitive and they are too competitive, because they have a huge amount of searches.
